I prefer SGN, but subscribe to both. This is no better than the "which gun should I get" threads - the answer is always "all of them."

I prefer Gun List, but I buy both. Need to subscribe to some others too. I really like Combat Handguns.

Gun List caters to hunting/collecting, while ShotGun News to "assult weapons", class III and the likes. I'd subscribe to SGN just to read Fred's ads.

Much easier to read. Pick up the occasional issue of Shotgun News, but, don't really read it. Not very organized or eye-friendly. |

Even though i'm always "in the market," I only pick them up when i know I can afford to buy the things I know I'll want... I usually look in the gun list though... I think I'll give SGN a look when i get the chance...
