Hey guys just wondering if a rifle had to be overnighted like a pistol, and also what the average cost is for say a 7lb rifle (AR-15) insured for $600 with confirmation signature etc with CONUS?

Thanks guys.

Does not have to be overnighted. Might want to use priority mail.
Too many variables to quote cost on the interweb.

They will ship private citizen to manufacturer or dealer. I dont beleive they will ship private party to private party. UPS wont, I am a dealer and Ive used both.

You have to declare it and I'd make sure they knew it wasn't loaded.

You may want to call first and avoid getting a hysterical employee at the counter. Although they claim to train those counter people I think it's really just an affirmative action dumping ground sometimes.
