Because I'm cheap and it works fine. At least, when you use a safety razor. But I did get a mug, brush, and shaving soap. A good way to combine my cheapness with my disliking razor bumps. |

gives a good close shave, but the blades are fucking expensive and don't last real long. anyone know where to buy em cheap? as in less than 8$ a 4 pack? I hate not being clean shaven. |

I buzz my stubble down with a buzzer sans the guard. Perpetual 5 o'clock shadow, but that looks better on me anyway, and I look a few years older.

I do the same thing. I use a bear trimmer with no guard. The ladies seem to dig the scruffy look on me. In fact, the hotter then girl, the hairier she seems to prefer me. |

I used to use an Atra, then I went to the Mach 3.
The Mach 3, it works better than any other razor I've ever used. Anyone who can get an acceptable shave with an electric must have a thin assed beard that doesn't come close to the wire-brush beard that I am affilicted with. I've tried electric shavers - they all suck on my beard, sharp cold steel is the only way to go! One thing I won't be doing any time soon is buying that new battery powered Mach razor - that's just stupid. |

Dovo is supposed to be pretty good... expect to pay about $100 for a good one, and then another $50 or so for a strop and yet another $50 for a honing block. Uh, you do know you need to strop and hone them, right? |

I use my wife's disposable shavers and use conditioner, not shaving cream. I also shave in the shower because my skin breaks out if I do it after I come out. Yes, Im gay.

Mach3 every other day.
I had been buying my blades at the supermarket. Well, the other day, I had to go to Wally World. The 8 pack of blades was only a $1 more than a 4 pack at the market. I hate that place, but it looks like I will go there to resupply my Mach3. |

Just the sides, I leave the 'statch, gotee and "soul patch" . I only shave every 3 or 4 days. Just when it starts to get itchie to the point where I can't stand it anymore.

I shave 4 times a week, head included. Have been for 4 years now, and I have found the Mach 3 the ONLY razor around that does the job right. I usually use the gel type of shave creams, shaving dry just hurts too bad and you have to go over it twice to get close. A blade lasts one week and it goes to the trash.

Gillette Sensor/EDGE pro gel. The main reason I shave now is my GF likes me clean shaven everyday.  I could however, just shave once a week and be fine wit it. |

I use Caswell-Massey Number 6, for the record. Also for the record, George Washington liked it and it is the oldest cologne in America. |
