Generally I like him in what I've seen. I thought he was pretty good in Pineapple Express, 40 Year Old Virgin, Zack and Miri, and yes, even Green Hornet. But yeah, he generally does play the same character.
Also I like Nic Cage, so take from that what you will. I prefer to think of it as the ability to turn off my brain and enjoy a film, rather than just awful taste. |

He looks a lot like me, and his character in Jack and Miri Make a Porno speaks my inner dialogue. Kinda creepy, really.
