@44-40 pro's Mom has been wanting a dog since Storm overnighted with her o. his way to AZ almost a year ago.
I got her Blaze. A 50# Shep/Husky youngster that is sweet as can be. He rides well tethered and loves everybody.
@Rook1069

If you can help post here and sign up  or just sign up to possibly help on future transports!
SFDR transport volunteer list!

Unless someone is making a large portion of the drive from Ky to TX as part of a holiday visit this will probably be after the holidays.
Best route is probably:
I will get to Elizabethtown, Ky.
Then 64 thru Bowling Green to Nashville
40 thru Memphis to Little Rock
30 thru Texarkana to Dallas
35 to Austin

14.5 hours he will possibly need an overnight.
44-40pro's Mom doesn't drive so Blaze needs to go all the way into Austin.
44-40pro may not be able to help much on this one due to work BUT he did a huge leg for Storm so no hard feelings there.

Etown to Nashville is no problem if you can't find someone on that leg.

Can do a section through Dallas and/or overnight too.  I should be on the transport list too.
(joker1, I'm the guy who transported your pups from Subnet's place to the vet/boarding when you were laid up here a while back)

Depending on the timing I should be able to help.
I can do Nashville to Memphis and/or Memphis to Little Rock especially if he stays the night like Storm did.

I'm in Birmingham but could possibly take a leg by air depending on timing.

Eta: would definitely need to be kenneled and would prefer mildly sedated. Benefit would be the potential route / meet up area could be expanded a pretty good bit. A two hour radius still gets to somewhere like Shreveport.

@Rook1069

I can do Shreveport to Dallas leg of the trip depending on what day. Or Texarkana to Dallas, whatever works best.

Okay, we're close. Although cb73 has offered I'd prefer to not stick him with a 10 hour day. One more driver from Memphos to Little rock would prevent that.

Here's what I have:

Demossville, Ky
   Joker1
Elizabethtown, Ky
   @joshiedoom
Nashville, Tenn
   @cb73
Memphis, Tenn
   *TBD*
Little Rock, Arkansas
   @photosarus
Texarkana
    @muzzled or @montyw42
Dallas
    @mPisi or @TexTJ209 or @Furyataurus
Austin.

A couple of overnights have been offered.

If the members tagged would message me their board names, real names and a textable phone number for a contact list.

@joker1 What is the timing on this? I don't think I can get off work this week. If its this week I can take him to Little Rock Saturday morning if someone can get him to Memphis Friday.

Thanks in advance for all of you who are chipping in on this adventure. Unfortunately I can't get away from work for the foreseeable future. Working 7 days a week at the moment. To all participants, I can tell you from past experience it is a very rewarding thing to be a part of.

Guys. Sorry I've been so absent. I've been out of commission for a while.
Blaze has his ride.
A friend of the adopter is visiting in Ohio and returns to Austin this week. She will pass 20 .minutes from my house and has agreed to take Blaze all the way home.

Hi all. This has turned out to be a very simple transport. One person, start to finish, and dropped off at my Mom's door. She is very excited to have Blaze and is counting the days.

Thank you JOKER1 for all that you do for the puppers in need.

I sent Blaze off today. Pretty dog. Good dog. Great in the car.

I met Kim, a friend of the adopters family 20 minutes from my house. She is delivering Blaze right to his new home.
