Yes it was, IIRC it was like -5 with the windchill, but I could be wrong, it may have only been in like the low 20's without the windchill.

It's freakin' freezin' Mr. Bigglesworth....

That day, yeah..It was.  I think it was high teens or low 20s, which, may not seem that cold, but, when you have to stand in it for hours at a time, you can bet your butt it is.

Here's us all Vader-ed up.

We only get snow like that maybe once or twice a winter now, next time we see something with 10+ inches will be probably Feb. Wisconsin winters have become rather tame over the last few years. Which is fine with me because while I liked winter as a kid, I don't now probably because I don't get snowdays anymore.

Use to have to do a security detail for a Christmas Tree Farm -------

they wanted us in dress uniform for show

I did it  once and froze my nuts off.

I was standing with my toes by the cruiser's exhaust tail pipe to warm my toes.

You got it right No matter what it looks like.

Those gloves fucking rock, for directing traffic. I know I've seen them in use.

But I hear if your hand movements are to fast they can cause seizures.

They are a small fingerless glove being worn over winter gloves.

You make your own or buy a set fairly easily. From what I'm told by people who've worn them, they're surprisingly warm and comfortable and even make decent hunting outfits when there's snow everywhere.
