Anyone familiar with this portion of the tax code? Have a couple of questions pertaining to it and my research didn't clear up the questions I had.

As do I.
I normally make one major business purchase each year and use the 179 deduction to make my tax liability as low a possible.
It's a pretty straight forward deduction as long a you read the guidelines.

Most of my purchases there is not a need to. The only split use thing I have is my pickup everything else is 100% business related.

I just use the same cc for all business stuff. Use business gas card for cars.
