I've used it on my vehicles in the past...not a lot, a few times.

It seemed to have a placebo effect if anything...but never did anything negative.

I have a 2005 Mercury 9.9 4 stroke that has been extremely hard to start every time when cold for the past 2 years.

I added 1oz of Seafoam per gallon of fuel  to the tank...first run it was tough to start as usual but seemed to run smoother (damn placebo again)

The second time I ran it (a couple weeks later) I primed it...choked and pressed the starter. Started right up and continued as soon as I pushed the choke back in.

Been this way ever since.

I have put it in everything I have but the only thing it seemed to help was my Honda genny , made her perk up real nice.

I used  about a half a can of the trans tune in a 93 Olds Cutlass. The lockup solenoid on the torque converter was sticking. It would cause the engine to die coming to a stop. Unhooked the wire to it and it stopped. Put it in the transmission hooked the wire back up. Drove it five miles before stopping. Not one problem since.

I periodically run it in the gas tank.

I also put it in the oil before an oil change.

I also pull a vacuum hose off the intake and suck it strait out of the bottle, but I killed an O2 sensor doing it this way, too much carbon at once.

Now I just do it in small amounts, safer on the sensors and plugs.

Quoted:
I've mainly used it as a stabilizer, works well for that.

Same here.

i've dumped in a can with about five or so gallons left in the tank. my mileage went way up till I filled up and then it came back down to normal.

really cannot tell any great results so far and that two cans in the past month I've gone through.

I've used seafoam on lots of stuff.....lawnmowers, motorcycles, atvs, 2-stroke boat motors.  It's always worked wonders for unclogging carb jets, and getting stuff to run right again.

I had a Ford Ranger with massive issues - 1 of the 4 cylinders got no compression at all, and another one had bad blowby.  You couldn't idle it, had to feather the throttle to keep it running at stoplights.

No shit, though, you could put a can of Seafoam in 5 gallons of gas, and it would run like nothing was wrong.  It was the damndest thing I ever saw.
