Anyone know if high rings will work for 4.5 -14X40 Leupold mounted on an ARMS FAL scope base ?

Do I need to get higher/lower rings?

The usual problem with mounting a scope on a FAL (STG) is the height of the rear sight interfering with the bell of the scope. You either need  high rings or can remove the rear sight. Not sure about you particular scope, but high rings were adequate (just!) for mounting a 1-4 Vari XII on my DSA carbine.
