A lot of the schools around here (ETn) are closed because of flu. We're off Thursday & Friday as well as Monday for Presidents Day. Any one else experiencing this?

None of my kid's schools, but a few of the neighboring towns here in north Jersey have had days off for building disinfecting. Heard numbers around 25-30% absent.

Half of my office is out with the flu, the clinic in the office has a line out the door passing out Tamiflu like halloween candy.

Half of my daughter's school was missing last week due to the flu. It wasn't your normal flu either. Just a really high fever and lots of body aches. She had it for 4-5 days and then finally got better.

Yep closed a local school last week bc of it. They had 250 cases the first of the week, by Wed it was over 400. They closed the school Thurs/Fri and went in and sprayed it down.

My daughter has a stomach bug and threw up for 3 days and just got over that. Now she has a temp of 103 and has a sinus infection.

I have missed the last 3 days with a horrible infection of some sort but they ruled out flu and strep.

There is some bad shit going around for sure.

Outbreaks of all sorts have been happening since the surge of illegal kids in the last four years or so but no one wants to admit where it came from.

Fucking hell, I saw everything closed in the tri-cities. I don't have the ability to throw due to a nissen, the dry heaves were super painful when I had food poisoning for a night. Fuck 3 days of that, I'm working from home and having USPS and FedEx pickup until this stuff passes.

How dare you, they're simply undocumented. No documents that they've been vaccinated, no documents they aren't diseased, no health insurance documents, and so on...

Schools havent started closing here (S/e michigan) but there is def a stomach bug going around.

We're avoiding the Tri Cities until the epidemic passes. Although I was in Morristown last weekend and didn't get the sickness.

Over 25% of my girls' school is out with sickness.

My youngest threw up all night on Wednesday night.

The teachers are suggesting closing the school and disinfecting but so far that idea hasnt gained traction.

Seriously, a nurse friend told my they are reserving Tamiflu just for kids and old people right now. She's said kids have died in ND due to the bug going around now.
