Tacky would be if the art was luchador themed instead of religious.

I think it's some kind of international law.

Actually the toes are part of the weapons stash on display.

They were smuggled into Mexico from America.

Its the belief and commitment to God and religion merged with the ruthless business practices of the drug trade. When death, in the words of Tupac, really is "just around the corner" it keeps a guy spiritual.

what is it with third-world nations and overly-flashy weapons?

it seems like there is some kind of inverse proportion where, the crappier your nation is, the more custom engraving and gold plating you need on your firearms.

Not spiritual enough to stop murdering other people, apparently.

The gold-plated Iraqi Tabuk's and SVD in the one pic are interesting. Must've bought em from Sadaam.

I'm not gonna front and say I wouldn't snap up one of those engraved Colts if the price were right.   I'd like that engraver to jump the Rio Grande and set up shop in my town.

The first AK has mesquite wood for grips and a forearm.

I want one.

No gold, but mesquite furniture for one of the AKs would be cool.

That doesn't exactly look comfortable to shoot.

With that front site, it doesn't seem like (from this angle) there'd be much of a point in aiming anyway

Actually, Jesus Malverde is the patron saint of drug dealing, but I didn't see him in any of the pics.

I am very curious to the reliability of some of those firearms.
