Was in a Turners(you Ca types know the place)and saw a SA green colored 1911. The place was too busy, and my time was short to find out the particulars.

Anyhow, does anyone know if this stuff is like the Wilson armor coat stuff?

I bought the "green nato finish"Springfield from my local Turner's ,and she's a beaut! I emailed S.A. and they just called it a "Kote" finish. It's an emulsion type finish, not sprayed, that's about all I know.[pistol]

Sounds like the TRP. My FFL was holding one for a customer and let me hold it. Great trigger and the finish was sweet.

Sounds like "GunKote" or "Armor-Tuff". Good stuff. Been thinking of having my Romanian SKS GunKote'd.
