I'm moving to a new desktop in the next day or so. I need to save a copy of the bookmarks for the new one, I can't find the file. I need some help here, thanks.

Bookmarks>Manage Bookmarks>File>Export creates an html page with all your bookmarks in it. When you install your new system just import that file into firefox.

Click on "Bookmarks," click on "Manage Bookmarks," click on "File," Click on "Export."

Exporting to "Desktop" makes them easier to find.

On the new computer use "Import."

Something I found was, I E-mailed myself my bookmarks as an attachement, each site would show up as hyperlinks in the body of the E-mail.

Now I can take my bookmarks to any computer I can access my E-mail from.

Use the "Find" (or search), files named feature in Windows Explorer.

There's "Bookmarks.HTML" and "Bookmarks.bak" (the .bak is a backup file).

In mine the bookmarks are under C:\Windows\Application data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\wrt96a9.default

There's also the same files for each individual profile under C:\windows\profiles.
