My email(yahoo) mailbox is almost full. I would like to save all of my old emails to HD or disc. Ive tried everything, but no go. Can anyone explain how to do this. TIA

Open a word file, copy/paste them (one-at-a-time) into it then call it something like AR15_emails.doc, wa-la saved e-mail files. [;)]

I do the same for threads I want to retain, (copy/paste the address of thread into a Word file, w/ brief description of contents) of course NOW, if we could just get the Techs to stop shifting the servers around I could actually get to some of those old saved topics.....hint hint!!![:)]

I think in Yahoo you can also transfer/save to your Yahoo briefcase which is much larger.

1] Open another Yahoo account and forward the mail.  This will also natively save any attachments you have - which copy/paste to Word won't do.

2] Find a free e-mail that offers more space and forward to there.

3] Setup Outlook to use HTTP mail (Yahoo)and pull them down.
