Democrat Congressman Leaving Party Over Impeachment, Becoming Republican

New Jersey Democratic Congressman Jeff Van Drew, who has strongly opposed the Democrats’ impeachment efforts, is leaving the Democratic Party and becoming a member of the Republican Party after meeting with President Donald Trump.

“Van Drew’s congressional and campaign staff were informed he was planning to switch parties on Saturday, according to Democratic sources,” Politico reported. “The question was now when, not if, Van Drew was joining the Republican Party, according to several Democrats with knowledge of the ongoing conversations.”
.

Van Drew reportedly met “at length” with Trump on Friday and his decision to switch parties is supposed to be officially announced in the near future, a top GOP source told Politico.

The Washington Post reported that his decision to switch parties delivered “a political jolt to Democrats ahead of next week’s expected vote to impeach the president.”

News of Van Drew’s defection went viral online moments after the story broke with many noting that the move is highly damaging to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s impeachment efforts.

I'm thrilled to see them catching hell at home but we need conservatives that will support the Trump agenda.  I have doubts he would be very supportive.

This is the second ex-See Eye Aye rep mulling the impeachment vote coming next week. The other was a woman from Michigan.

I wonder if they are planing on voting against impeachment in order to provide cover for a deeper plan.

IMHO, as it currently stands, any ex-CIA serving in a capacity as an elected official is not to be trusted.

I know what you mean. The leftist infiltration of the republican party has been part of the key to their past success. I'd much rather see potential defectors stay in their own party and fight against dem nonsense. On the other hand, our great president was a life-long dem before he defected too and that's working out pretty well so far.

Swift’s father is a big shot in finance. But since the NSA “has it all” I guess Trump will fix Soros.

Looks like the natives are getting restless again. This is likely a preview of our 2020 election.

Antifa Leftists Riot in London Following Massive Election Loss…

Following a major election victory for conservatives in the U.K. the Antifa-left start rioting in the streets again.  Proving once more that socialists do not accept election outcomes.

The vitriolic response from the British socialists resembles an almost identical response following the 2016 election victory of President Trump.  Same groups, same political ideology, same behavior, same violence, rage and expressed anger.

The inability of the progressive left to accept the outcome of an election is identical in both the U.K and the U.S.  Calling Boris Johnson a racist and attempting to delegitimize the election outcome has a ring of familiarity for Americans.

The decades of their united globalist efforts to tear at the very fabric of nationalism is being eliminated. The radical socialists have nothing to lose; the media is sympathetic to their objectives; their desperate need for a collectivist society is visible within their apoplexy.  They are afraid of the individual accountability that comes with freedom, and they’re damn sure displaying it.

Do not look away.

I know that area somewhat. Fairly conservative but still voted a D in. At least short term its a loss for the D's more than a gain for the R's.
There was a PA house rep that left the party a few weeks ago. He went independent. There are probably more across the country like this that we arent hearing about.
I hope a pattern of defectors emerges.

Universities does a lot of research work for the DoD.
And obviously lots of research for industry, medicine, computers.
So maybe a way to grease the skids to pass on the research work?
Have already seen that they are for sale to the highest bidder when it comes to admissions,
So why not national and corporate security, too.
Besides, most of the people running universities are fellow travelers

The investigation also showed one university had multiple contracts with the ruling Chinese Communist Party’s Central Committee, and one university also received gifts from a foundation “suspected of acting as a propaganda and influence front” for the Chinese government. Another promotes a Thousand Talents Program, which the FBI deems a Chinese form of “nontraditional espionage," through a Chinese company with close ties to China’s government.
The investigation also revealed “one university accepted funds from the arts of a foreign government to create an ‘academic’ center expressly for the dissemination of propaganda and to conduct other ‘soft power’ information activities” without specifying the country.
Among other things like working on surveillance algorithms

Our best universities sold out to foreign interests

Remains to be seen if the old Hillary pops back up. Research the old threads on her and the visual comparison between just prior to her losing a shoe and collapsing, vs popping back out of her daughter's home refreshed and looking renewed just four hours later.

Plenty of time to get there if you are less than 100 miles away. Just sayin.

Durham was conducting a Grand Jury somewhere in NJ. Is there a direct connection to all this speculation? Remains to be seen.
