Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Safe "Door Open" Alarm?

Does anyone know of or have rigged up an "open door" alarm similar to those found on refrigerators?  I have inadvertantly left my safe door open a few times and think this would be agood idea. Alarm goes off after the safe door has been opend for a predetermined amount of time.

Have an additional window switch added.  It may have to wired.  My house has wireless switches and it would be really easy.

I don't want an "instant" alarm. There would have to be some sort of delay to set off a buzzer or soft alarm after 5 minutes or so.

Whenever I open mine, I just leave the keys on top of the safe.  Since the key to the front door is also on the ring, it's hard to leave the house without remembering to lock the safe.
