I must respectfully disagree.  I like being able to re-size all the movies that I view (media player can, QT can't)  I like being able to save the movie onto my hard disk if I want to (media player can, QT makes you dig through the cache to find it, but only if you have that option checked in the plug-in settings)  Media Player's interface is more direct and to the point (they messed this up with 7.0, but hopefully will fix it soon) You can watch ANY video at full screen with media player (QT, you can "fill screen", but that still has the moronic border around it)  While I use both formats, I MUCH prefer watching videos in Microsoft's Media Player, because of its versatility.

True but QuickTimes playback quality is much better.

BTW you can save the videos without searching the cache. On my Mac it prompts me asking if i'd rather save the video or view it directly.

I have just the opposite problem with windows media player. I have to search the cache to retreive WMP videos.
