You know, I was watching SWAT last night, and afterwards flipped on the Directors Commentary.

Anyway, the director, Clark Johnson, who is also an actor and was in Homicide, Life on the Streets, was commenting on the creation of SWAT. He said it was created in response to the "Watts Rebellion"....

When the fuck did the Watts RIOTS become a Rebellion? WTF kind of revisionist history is this?

Anyone else ever hear them called the Watts Rebellion, or is it just a "cultural" thing?

Here's my definitions.

Riot- When you burn down YOUR own neighborhood.
Rebellion- When you burn down SOMEONE ELSE's neighborhood.
