If gun laws allowed cheap, full auto SBR sub guns as easy as buying any long gun, I'd definitely have a Sterling in the safe.

sorry, I sold mine...

Sterling L34A1? Or Sten MKIIS?
Link Posted: 3/18/2013 10:16:22 AM EDT
I got Sten mags, but no Sten
Link Posted: 3/18/2013 10:17:00 AM EDT
I've got a Sten MKII parts kit complete with sling, 4 32 round mags, and mag loader. It even had the nifty wirestock. I think I paid $35 for it at a gun show around 10 years ago.

Speaking of...anyone know of a good company doing Sten builds? I've been trying to get it put together all these years but have never had any luck finding someone to build it.

Got a welder? and about $400 for extra parts?

You going to need a Tube thats undersized, and a semi closed bolt kit, and a longer barrel.

Its really easy..

All you need is here.. the kits are good to go..

Local PD has two of them. Full auto. Elderly lady turned them in after her husband passed on. I've held one of them and checked it out but never got to try it in action.

MII-S has always been on my list.

i should have grabbed one a few years ago when i actually had some disposable income, and when they were a bit more affordable.

just out of interest, what would something like that sell for in your country?

I've always wanted to build a gun. I'm pretty sure a "tube gun" would be the place to start. Can you still find parts kits anywhere?
