It goes DD it gets registered without tax payment and in any state. Price may come down a bit but then again it may not.

it would be a mess for one reason. hte price to be a DD dealer is unbelivable. its not like class 3. i understand a DD trasaction is a huge pain in the ass. i guess it would be fine to own, but the purpose of making some evil shotguns DD (usas and streetsweeper) was so they die with thier owner in many cases.

If it becomes a DD, you don't have to be a DD dealer to register it. In fact no dealers are involved.
Just a Form 1 (or 5) with no finger-prints, CLEO sign-off, or any of the rest.
That's how it worked for those who had to register a Street Sweeper or USAS.
Really easier than the yellow form thing for a normal gun. You already own the gun. You would just have do a tax free registration.
If you every wanted to sell it or buy one that has been registered. Then it becomes the usual NFA pain in the butt.
