When asked this question everyone should answer this thread with one phase:

NOT ENOUGH!

Now the tough questions:

Should the SHTF and your main residence be non-inhabitable and your mode of transportation was out of gas/disabled and you had to hump equipment (rifle, 30 mags, extra ammo, water, food, clothes) in a ruck sack 20 miles to a friend/relative's residence, how many of you would make it before dieing of exhaustion?

How many could jog 2 miles with rifle/ extra mags?

My point is this: If you are going to make preparations for a natural/biological/terrorist/tyranny disaster such as stocking up on food, batteries, ammo, water, etc etc. Shouldn't you also keep yourself and family in relatively good physical condition as well?

If nothing else, so you can live longer and keep voting pro-gun longer?

Be safe, eat healthy, practice at the range, and exercise! Too many of the self-pics on this forum have guts.

I keep most of my guns at my parents' ranch, 100 miles away.  That said if I had to carry all that shit it would be tuff.  I have asthma and extra pressure on my shoulders gets me short of breath.  I cannot run 1/2 mile without getting asthma so I am SOL there, too.

I do consider myself excellent physical shape, though running aside.  I life weights every day and am pretty solid there.  I just cant hump a heavy back pack.

8 -thirtys,1-ten.

the ten  is in the gun in the safe at all times.
one thirty loaded to twenty on top of the safe.

If biker zombie tangos suddenly appear,  having 8000 rounds pre loaded wont be much good anyway. I think I can handle any realistic scenario with that.
