Does anyone own a SCHI,II,or III dog on this forum?
Something happen to me latley that has prompt me into purchasing a fully trained SCHIII German Shepherd. The other day I left my Van unlocked in front of my house and 2 thieves broke into it and stole some nonreplacable items. I saw them and tried to pursue them but stopped. I stopped because I was unarmed, had no shoes, it was raining, it was 11pm and they ran like world class sprinters. Not to mention I am out of shape. My first reaction was if my 6 month German Shepherd had been older and trained I would have let her loose. No doubt she would have caught 1 of the scum bag.
I wonder what the law would be if I did have the dog and he did bite one of the dirt bag. Considering they were fleeing the scene and my life was not endangered at the time.
i trained them professionally for LEO work and private citizens for 10 years..
turning a ScH loose on common thieves outside your dwelling could be a serious faux paux in my opinion.
call the cops..
the lawsuit from the bite...would be ROUGHhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
a 100lb GSD fully trained for protection is a wicked instrument...possibly the best protection of a house money can buy..
