Just got back to LA last night. Recovering from last night and started cleaning up my guns after 7 months of neglect, thought I'd show off.

Glad to hear you made it back.

That's a cool cache.

Very nice.

Where are the Kalishnikov bringbacks?
Link Posted: 9/25/2005 1:13:04 PM EDT
Now go shoot some of them Honey Island hogs. They ought to be fat after the hurricane knocking down all of those acorns.

Well they would land in me in a nice prison cell so, nonexistant.

I do also have an RPK and a G3 but they are awol at the moment, my dad stashed them somewhere to protect himself from looters.

Since your abusing that M1A like that and don't have time to give her the love she deserves I'll be more than happy to give her a good home.

Welcome home!

+5 for the Broomhandle, Luger, and Trapdoor Springfield.
Link Posted: 9/25/2005 1:23:56 PM EDT
I assume you live elswhere than (what used to be) the Big Easy, considering the mass confiscations that have taken place.

Welcome home. I thoughly enjoyed your music videos.

Nice collection of hardware. BUT....among all of the stuff, I don't see a M1 Garand.
Link Posted: 9/25/2005 1:26:50 PM EDT
Sort of a odd lot. Nice collection.

I like turn of the century designs, also you gotta have your fancy pants new guns.

Looks good. You need to add a MN91 and maybe an LP-08 to round out your turn of the century collection.

I actually dont have any old American rifles.

My M14 is a polytech. My ARs are my only American rifles

It must make you feel kinda stupid after carrying around belt fed machine guns that now you can only go "click, bang."
I think it would me.

That's exactly like my collections - some of the similarities are uncanny.

I've got ARs with all the cool gadgets, but I've got old stuff like P-08s and Broomhandles and old Enfields too.

Awesome!

I agree that you ARE missing a Garand - and maybe a P-38
Link Posted: 9/25/2005 2:32:09 PM EDT
nice, where in LA are you

Every shooter should have a M1 Garand in their collection. In that case I would highly encourage you to get one from our CMP/DCM. They are the best kept secrets in the shooting. Even though they recently raised the prices on their rifles, it is still well worth the time & effort to obtains a real genuine bona fide USGI M1 Garand, a true slice of Americana like "mom & apple," and in my case chicken chow mein. Nothing is as satisfying is a hearing the "ching" at the end of an 8 round string.

See here:

Fixed it for you.

Nice shooters.

Nice stash, I like that bulletproof vest.
Link Posted: 9/25/2005 3:02:06 PM EDT
I like the Iraqi police vest and the Combloc scope - they both bringbacks?
Link Posted: 9/25/2005 3:02:52 PM EDT
Nice collection you have there, just don't go boating.

The police vest and commie bayonets are bringbacks, the scope is not. Got the vest off an insurgent who clearly got it from a cop.

The Luger and the broomhandle are really nice. The 1897 trench gun is great. Is that an original Winchester (the trench gun)?

By the way, love the video.

It is not all that much considering you don't have to look that hard in order to find a good one. If you're not happy with the CMP/DCM, they will try correct. I'm not an expert at the M1 Garand by any means, but I've seen a few Garands at the local gunshows with really banged up stocks(not dings and dents), dark bores, rattlely handguards, loose rear sights etc and the vendors wanted $500.

Is that a NV scope on your vest? You'll have to buy a nice SVD to mount it on.

Welcome home Ace. Glad you made it back.

Excellent collection. Love the SMLE, Trapdoor carbine and M1A. Story on the vest is awesome. Good show.

Good luck in LA getting the place pacified. Sounds like they need you there.

Good guns. I especially like the Mauser c96.

Is that an actual Winchester Model 97, or the Norinco knock-off?
Link Posted: 9/25/2005 6:01:39 PM EDT
You need to take up NRA Highpower.

I have about a month left until I get to go home for 12 days.

First order of business is with Mrs. Gr1nG0

Second order of business is building my AR. Then again. Then the range to shoot my toys. Then again.... You get the idea!!

Then it's back to the sandbox.
