Was that a "hail mary" last-ditch burst from his AK at the dropped bomb, the UAV that dropped it, or was he actually engaged in ground combat? He appeared to be in an attempted cover position and was apparently freaking out.

They are getting very skilled, on Both sides. The future is now. Soon, you won’t need to fly it to the final contact. Just designate the target and move on. Most of the Skill will be unnecessary.

One of the better FPV freestyle pilots I follow.
This is him having fun withiut a care in the world. Imagine building searches in the future when an FPV drone decides to pretend to be an Face Hugger from Aliens with a miniclaymore attached to it. You can run but you will only die tired and out of breath. Having 3 or 4 FPV drones on the back of a pickup/technical that you can activate and fly from inside a moving vehicle, maybe even dropped out of a helicopter to scout an LZ before a team does a fastrope insertion. I have flown one of my FPV rigs from inside of a vehicle and covered 3-5 miles on a small 4-5 minute pack. Covering up to 100 yards to either side of the road while terrain following 5-10 feet off the ground and avoiding obstacles and shit. Lot of interesting skills to learn and develop if you have some imagimation. |
