Besides the fact that current Ukraine aid is about 50/50 between the US and Europe and surviaval of Ukraine as a state is essential for the war effort. Your description of Europe and the various interests shows you not informed about the situation here, news from various 'rage' sources is just that. Biden is as you said incorrect about the aid but that does not make the actual situation the polar opposite. The US provides most of aid in the form weapons that you already have but a certain $ amout gets attached to, Europe proved weapons but also a large part of the other costs involved. non of the parties involved spend their aid on one component 100% of the time. Besides everything else it would be strategicly wise for the US to have say Poland, Baltics and Ukraine as allies even if the rest of Europe did nothing. |
