Anybody got one? I can't seem to find any negative reviews, except some people have a gritty trigger. Is it really that good a gun? The price seems right.

A buddy bought one. I put 6 rounds through it and I liked it. I thought that the trigger was a bit light for a CCW, but it has a thumb safety.

I've shot the 40c & I have a 9c.

I see a bit of bashing, it seems mostly by S&W guys, but aside from some early issues that were taken care they seem to be a decent handgun.

I was torn between the S&W Shield but I was consistently more accurate with the SRC's. To add it also beat out the G26/27 in my preferences.

Clarification: my buudy's gun is a 9C, not a 40.

great gun for the price, IMO.

I have a 9C and like it. It is the best CCW I have owned. It is hell on beer cans.

I have the 9c and love it. For the price, you can't beat it.

The stock trigger is pretty good. The feel of it is nice. It's quite comfortable to carry, the recoil is soft and it's quite accurate.

But, being a Ruger, it's ugly as sin and has RUGER emblazoned across it everywhere next to the numerous warnings.

I have thought about parting with it, but it's hard to actually do it because of how decent it really is.
