http://www.jambase.com/article/roger-daltrey-confirms-will-play-mega-festival-indio

The Who frontman Roger Daltrey has confirmed reports AEG Live/Goldenvoice will host a mega-festival in Indio, California October 7 – 9 featuring rock royalty Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Neil Young, The Who and Roger Waters. The singer confirmed the festival and The Who’s participation to the BBC. "What a great weekend it will be,” Daltrey told BBC 6 Music. "They’re all going to be there, on the one spot, at the one time.”

Think I'm gonna have to venture out to Cali for that.

I'll just wait for the Blu-Ray.

Paying $20 for a bottle of water and shitting in a trench doesn't have much appeal to me.

I really can't see myself going to a festival like that to see those acts, unless I really had to check them off my bucket list, just to say I've seen them.

There's some quiet dignity in knowing when it's time to hang it up. Don't get me wrong - I'm a huge fan of all of them, but...let's be honest. I'm a fan of what they were.

I dunno. Maybe it depends on who else is playing.

Looking at the line-up, I hope they plan on having lots of handicapped parking and Rascal charging stations.

Yeah, when you're 20. Pushing 50, I'm content to miss this one.

Shit, I hate going to GA shows these days.

Yep, when I saw the title, I didn't think it was Classic Rock. It would be could to see them as mainliners in between some more current rock bands.

Only ones I haven't seen live are The Who and McCartney. We'll see what happens.

I'll be 36 then. But a group of friends that I grew up with in Cali are talking about going, so getting everyone back together for a three day party might just be worth it.

I saw the Stones at Shea Stadium in 1989. I could swear it was billed as a retirement tour.

The 96' tour that I went to was for sure labeled as that.

They have had several social security tours since then.

I grew up with their music. It was my generation.

They can all get together and suck each other's dicks, for all I care.

Stopped caring about them a loooong time ago.

Old man festival?
Link Posted: 4/22/2016 6:49:29 PM EDT
Let's see, Neil Young can't sing anymore, Bob Dylan never could and Paul is a fossil. Pass.
Link Posted: 4/22/2016 6:49:47 PM EDT
Some of them will not make it to October.
Link Posted: 4/22/2016 6:51:07 PM EDT
They hosting it at a retirement home?
Link Posted: 4/22/2016 7:20:42 PM EDT
I got the CDs I don't need to stand around to watch a bunch of singers past their prime try and "perform".
