Hello all! New member with my first post.

Having recently returned from Iraq I am in the market for a modular type assualt rifle/carbine. Researching around I found and really liked the Robinson XCR. Other than the information offered on thier site and a couple articles there is not much out there info wise.

I was wondering if anyone here owned one or owned another type of weapon from Robinson armament comapny.

Thanks for your information and opinions.

I like it!

A lot of people will bash it because it is new and some how threatens them, but it seems like the PERFECT setup to me! Others gripes were over tangible reasons-

Robarm had some issues with their M96 Expeditionary series of rifles and were upgrading parts and pieces constantly(and they were HEAVY). This has led to some peoples reservation about the XCR, and I can't blame them, but I WILL buy one in the next year unless they are proven to be POS's when they are released shortly.

Robarm has put a LOT of effort into it and hopefully it will be a rock solid weapon

ETA: Here is some XCR pRon for you www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=3&f=12&t=260089

I had high hopes, but they keep pushing back the release date and recently raised the price before it was even released

Thanks for the information guys. Any idea on what the waiting list time period is going to be to get one? Also any additional comments, information, or opinions are very much welcome.
