I think the instances you mention have more to do with the amount of money those studios generate for youtube by allowing any of their shit to be shown.

I can't post naked pics of chicks on here, because it's not allowed by the owners.
Owners of Youtube pull videos negative to the people who pay more to them. Their site, their rules. Hit the streets with a placard if you care that much. |

Theoretically yes.
However, that seems to be changing in bits and pieces. For example, a business that chooses not to create a product with a gay theme to it (more cake anyone?) might find themselves being fined and harassed by government agencies. Incrementalism. Quote HistoryQuoted:
