If we can to support the Republican Senate, we can maintain some majority control of the Senate. Due to the power sharing agreement signed at the beginning of the year. The Republicans have the right to filibuster any change of power, we must support their plan now. News of the plan at the "elephant" icon at:

Kinda makes one wonder if John Ascroft should have filed a lawsuit stating that his senate race was illegal (which I believe clearly was).

Filibuster . . .  that's just a slow way to put off the inevitable.

Demo's have a majority, 49/50/1 . . . That's why the Majority Leader is now a Dem.

That's why the committees are headed by Dems.

That's why the agenda is controlled by Dems.

That's what happens. If there were a way to staunch this, the lawyers that ARE the Senate would have brought it up.

But I don't think the agenda will include new gun laws. Bush has the veto, and there are no votes to over-ride.
