How do I report a thoughtcrime? You don't have to. They already know. |

WOW, totally ridiculous. Some metro fag now believes he is safer and will not get mugged, beaten, stabbed, etc because he has an "App for that".

Hello? Yes, I would like to report a treasonous criminal...1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, Washington D.C.
What? Oh, Barry something... |

Clicking on the Government Waste tab alerts the mobile collection squad to take you straight to the gulag.
Its in the itunes store.. reviews are thankfully pretty bad http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/patriotapp/id390563133?mt=8 |

So its basically a tattle tale app?
How stupid. I swear in ten years your not going to be able to spit on the sidewalk without someone reporting you to DHS. |

They need to market it to urban dwellers.

Is this 1984?? by n30h4x So what is this 1984? Turning the American Public into a giant police state grid? Yes people, be the Patriot and report any suspicious activity. Last time i checked this was the USA not Nazi Germany. welcome to 1984 america by real patriot in FL did you know that hitler and the third reich had the brown shirts before taking power i germany. they were a little army of good citizens that reported supicious activity. they became the gustapo at a later time when hitler took power. they killed hundreds of thousands of jews and there only excuse at the nuremberg trials were "we were just following orders" this app is the antithesis of the slow fall into fascism our country is now seeing. goldman sachs controls the SEC monsanto runs the FDA and GE runs the energy commision. and we have a government police force the department of homeland security and we have janet napolitano in wal marts with messages of reporting "suspicious activity" to protect the homeland. what ever happened to protecting the constitution. and over the last 15 years it is being burned in front of our eyes. and this is just another lighter to add to the attempt. read the 4th amendment and remember that in america your are "innocent until proven guilty" for a reason. ...More Very Eerie... by Drew Janiszyn This app is ironically the least patriotic app I've seen in the app store. |

how is that any different than calling 911 or the non-emergency number?
OMG111!!!BBQ!!!!! |

Yep. I knew it. iPhones are the key to creating the dystopian society of the future.
From the website: "We leverage your existing Blackberry, Android or iPhone platform and drive compliance directly to your staff's mobile device. No manuals to find, nor forms to locate, no wasted time. " Must be the device behind this new evil. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

Some half assed programmer writes an app, that has nothing to do with any government agency.
Fools buy it. Other fools see it as some sinister government plot. Most folks say "thats retarded" and move on without spending .99 on it. |

I reported this thread to arfcom mods.

I caught a bit of this on the radio today. The people who put this together are all DHS, past or present.

Does that app have options for different languages? Specifically newspeak?

You might be asked questions. This abomination you just have to press a few buttons and then you are done. You probably won't call 911 for some kid listening to his stereo too loud because you know you will sound like an idiot. With an app like this that deterrent is removed. |

The language on the website very similar to that used in government regulations and I was wondering if they copied the language style or if they were current/former .gov employees. |

I heard no mention of a government contract. Their website doesn't look very government associated. |

No, just some folks trying to look like they are government related to dupe folks into buying from them, or hire them to make software for a local municipality. Their bios all allude to "background" with government agencies- when folks claim "background with" that usually means "I worked next door to" or some other weak ass connection. |

I'd be surprised by a contract, but not by some grant. I would also like to revise my statement that the website reads like .gov regulations. Only some of it does. The rest reads like some useless fluffy feel good mission statement that doesn't actually say anything. That, and I saw the word "empowers" on the website. The only times that I will use that word are when I am quoting somebody, when I am making fun of the hippies that use it, or if I want to dupe the hippies that love it. But it does sound good in useless fluffy feel good mission statements. |

Already on board.
