Found some Remington 375 H&H magnums, green or brown laminate stocks, flip up open sights, with a "Zastava European 98 action."

They are $499. Anyone know anything about these rifles??

Should I buy one? Seems cheap for a Safari rifle...

Smoking deal, 375 rocks.  I am looking for another, I'd have to dump the shitty stock, safari rifles should have good wood!

Just download CDNN's latest catalog.

They have some great deals from time to time, only problem is that they're great deals on stuff nobody wanted in the first place.

Yep as I joked in the caracal pistol thread

working in this business for 16 years now I have become pretty accurate on prdeicting what is going to be in the CDNN catalog next year

its become a bit of a joke at work

My only big miss was with Springfield XDs

I really figured they would go the way of the all the cat series rebadged  pistols Springfield did back in the day

A few years back, I bought 6 "new, take out" Colt M16 BCGs for $99/per from CDNN.  They were exactly that.  Even came in Colt packaging.

Here is my CDNN Remington 798 in 375.  This is the brown laminate stock, the green ones were out.

Rifle had more than your average amount of grease in the internals, but cleaned up fine.  smoother action than my other yugo mausers (24/47 and M-48).

Fit/finish was good.  metal finish was dark blueing.

CDNN had them for a while at that price.  They also had the Walnut stocked ones for 100$ more.  I got mine in that caliber for 617$ out the door.  I really like it. Mine weights 8 1/2 lbs.  It has a 3 round mag but you can put one in the chamber and the mag swings out with the push of a button.  The bolt has a little slop in it like most mausers do though.  If you've never fired 375 H&H, it has a bit of ass on it.  Almost like shooting an SBS shotgun with a 3 inch slug.  It is not something I would shoot a whole lot if you don't reload as ammo is very spendy. Prvi Partizan makes some for less that 30 a box but comes up a little in price when you factor in the cost of shipping.  The cartridge is great due to it's versatility.  You can make some seriously punishing rounds all the way down to pussy cat loads.

It's a hell of a deal. With a little work (mostly to the stock) it would be a damn nice rifle.

Its a jaw breaker and a dream maker (African Safari).

Looking forward to getting one off the used rack...after the previous owner prices ammo.

I've been trying to talk myself out of one for quite some time...this thread isn't helping.

...then there's that P220 Carry SAO that they have as well...I want that one too.
