So what do you guys think of the SPS in .223? Is this a decent rifle for the money? Will I be able to shoot
5.56 ball ammo out of this rifle as well, being that it is a .223? Wanted to set up a 75 to 150 yard light
caliber percision zombie rig. Think this would suit the bill?

yes, it is very sweet. .223 will not shoot 5.56, or at least shouldn't. I am very happy with both my .223 and .308. expect .400 to .600 moa groups with reloads. For the price, the size, its a great deal. I personally like the stock

I just bought the SPS-T in .308. waiting for glass, I can't wait to shoot it.

For those ranges why not just build an SPR?

For a bolt gun, .308 > .223

Ok, good point! Already have one. So if I went the .308 route, would I be able to shoot ammo
like the South African battle pack stuff or even LC ball?

I have the SPS Tac in .308.
So far am very pleased.
Like the short barrel. Gonna use a can with it!
Shooting sub MOA groups with good factory ammo.
Shoots decent even with some Silver Bear .308 I had left.
I recommend!
