Since the 870 is a pump shotgun is everything legal to do..as long as the barrel is 16+"?  Folding stock, pistol grip stock, mag extension....etc, etc.

Minimum legal length for shotgun is 18", any thing under 18" is a "short barreled shotgun".

And overall length must be greater than 26", measured with any folding stock EXTENDED.  But, otherwise, yes, make it as evil looking as you like.

The law is an 18" barrel, 26" overall with all stocks extended.
