Thinking of trading my new production Remington 870 Police 18.5" bead sight for a cut down Colt 6920 10.5" complete upper with KAC rail, it has 1200 rounds through it but seller says it runs perfectly, gas port has been resized. Is this a good deal or should I pass?

Who chopped the barrel?  If it was done by someone like ADCO, maybe.  If it was done at home or by Bubba's Ribs and Guns then probably not.

For me?  Nope.  The ship has sailed on Colt stuff for anything other than low end prices.  You can get a brand new BCM 11.5in complete upper for 600 bucks.  I'd much rather keep a the 870p than a used upper of any brand.
