I got tore up when I stepped on an ant nest yesterday in flip flops. it wasn't a mound, the ground here is sopping wet and I thought the ants where all dead or moved on until they came swarming out of the ground biting the crap out of my feet and toes.

It's itching like crazy. Tried all the normal stuff like calamine, witch hazel, hydrocortisone, Benadryl and Zostrix. Still itches like mad.

Anyone have any good remedies?

I was stung on the foot in LA.  Get you some Solarcaine with Lidocaine.  Comes in a green spray can.
It worked well on mine.

deodorant can sometimes take the sting out of a bite. The gel stuff seems to work the best. rub it on the bite.  I think it dries it up and pulls the formic acid out.

Pop the head, squeeze out all the juice. Apply topical antihistamine ointment, take benadryl as needed.

Yep.  Ammonia.  Pick up one of those Sting-eze sticks.  It's ammonia, just easier to apply.
