This comment from that page said it best:
For all the whiners that do not support it, THIS is why we have the death penalty.

Jabraylon’s mother, Jasmine Thompson, said she does not believe Simmons would have deliberately hurt her child.
Ummmmm . . . Edit: "Mah convicted murderer boyfren di'in't do nuffin!" |

Carlnelus? Jabraylon? WTF??
Those 2 names gave my spell check a hernia. |

I am normally against capital punishment for reasons of faith, but as the father of twin 5 year olds this turd is IMHO the official poster boy for public hanging.

No 16 month old child deserves punishment of that nature. Punishment that horrid needs to be reserved for shitheads like the perp. That SOB.
Public lynching anyone??? |

Spot on comment:
My first question reading the story is why is this relatively young convicted murderer out of prison? Why is the life of this child more valuable than the life of his first victim? Clearly this man is a homicidal psychopath that should have never had the opportunity to kill twice. What role does the method of killing play in the sentencing process? Apparently his first victim was in a fight with him outside a club in 1994. Since his release in 2007 he was arrested in 2009 on drug charges. Again why exactly is this guy walking around free in late 2010 to kill this little boy? This guy is horrible but don’t let your anger cloud your vision of a system that let him out to kill again. This is a total failure of our legal system that giving it the power to kill does NOT rectify that failure. |

Scalding followed by Crucifiction. Long hard slow brutal execution.
Make the bastard scream for a bullet. |

He accidentally dropped the kid in a pot of boiling water????
Fucking hang 'em. |
|
Godfuckingdammit.
They should have killed him the first time he murdered someone. |

I hope the next time I hear about this, the title reads.
"Released convicted murderer, that put toddler in boiling water, was mysteriously crushed by a truck, while onlookers cheered and waited for their turn to drive the truck." Might be a little long and need some refinement. It's just what I'm hoping for. |

Took that poor child 36 days to die.
So we need a team of doctors to make sure during the 36 days of punishment leading to eventual execution his heart doesn't pop prematurely. After a expedient trial and judgment by his peers, who should all be parents. |

Him, executed. Momma, same punishment.

We're better than that. A swift execution by hanging or firing squad is better. |

I read one of the whiney comments about how the death penalty isn't the answer, and that this guy was released due to the system failing. Maybe I'm stupid, but death is the only way to be sure.

Guys , It's not the Police that is the problem. It is Many, many POS Judges that let this garbage roam among us.

I bet some liberal pushed for his release to, because he "found god" while in prison.
It's weird how these guys find God while in prison but seem to lose him after they get out. |
