You see, sydney and aimless, I am a man of principle and I don't let the unimportant things change my view of people. I pay attention to ideology and my ideology that we need a wall and that we need to start winning again matches up with Trump's. Maybe someday you two can become as principled and ideologically focused as I am and then you can eschew worthless political tripe and help support Making America Great Again. |

You do realize planes are a little different then cars right? It is pretty normal for all planes to get a complete o-haul and put back in use..pretty common for even old planes from the 60's --70's to get a complete o-haul and put back in use....My guess also is part of re-registration is some form of a FAA inspection being passed as well....... |

The article has nothing to do with a planes registration but everything to do with showing trump is out of touch with common folk and more elite than hitlery.
It is a hit piece. |

Maintenance is huge and constant and planes tend to age much, much better than cars do. This is a 1970 Gulfstream: |

Quoted: can he pull some strings & get out of, like a speeding ticket or two? View Quote From the article - "If the FAA decides to pursue the matter, it could slap a fine on Trump – and possibly even seek prison time, though that’s unlikely. According to the FAA, flying without a registration could result in a civil penalty of up to $27,500 and a criminal fine of up to $250,000 and three years behind bars." For a $5 registration ? The FAA is another of those fucked-up .fed agencies. There are lots of them, too. IIRC it has to be renewed every 10 3 years. For $5. ETA - It's 3 years now. Procedure was changed in 2010. |

Just mt .2 but I think this shows a lack of planning in the Trump organization

I don't know much about planes, no View Quote Me either, but I have several friends that own them, and when I was a young man I spent a summer working in a plane shop as a helper that repaired military planes...everything we touched got inspected right down to the paint job and if the inspector didn't like any part of it, the whole piece failed and had to be completely redone...My one friend owns several planes, both have been crashed by previous owners and repaired(with FAA inspection) several times.. it is a normal deal with planes.... |

Who are you going to arrest? The corp that owns the plane? That corp is probably managed by another corp. I guess you could ding the pilot. |

I hope the eventual winner of the nomination can take this same kind of scrutiny.
I mean, they will get this same kind of scrutiny, right? |

Airplane registrations are valid for three years. This was changed several years ago. Probably just got missed. Happens frequently.
