I'm too lazy & busy to search the web at the moment.

I need a good domain registration thingamabob. Price is important as well. Give me some leads as I've never done this before.

Help me out...and thanks for doing so.

I've used several over the years..I like GoDaddy the best...not exactly head and shoulders above the rest, but good.

I hate godaddy. It's fine if you just have one domain but if you manage several [as I do] they suck big time. There's no customer service. They have made several mistake with several accounts.

I now only use networksolutions. They do not sell your name, address to spammers and I can tell my clients only pay the networksolution bill. Trust me, you get TONS of junk bills using all the others.

Looked at networksolutions when i was going to register mine, to much $$$$

I use yahoo. $4.98/year for your first registration other wise every domain after that is $9.

Reminds me... I need to renew my domain registration! Then this year, I'll have to update the page... or actually CREATE one... (read: Get one of my friends to design and implement one!)

Also since Network Solution is the only true registry. When you register with gogodaddy GOGODADDY is actually the ones who own your domain - if you go to networksolutions and look it up. They are listed as owners and technical contact and your name is only administrative - which gives you no right to switch registries.

$35 is a lot to pay but you'll own it and have immediate access and support. You get what you pay for. If you're only registering something simple like a website for your local softball team - then fine but if it's something serious then look at it like real estate and invest wisely.
