I am thinking of having a Belgium made Browning Hi Power refinished. It is a surplus gun I picked up through AIM a while back. Any thoughts? Or should I just go with plain blue finish? I am kicking around getting it parkerized.

I've used Brownell's Bake-On Teflon finish on my M14 mags and they look GREAT!! Now that I've got my C&R I'm looking for an old pistol to refinish with some more bake-on stuff. What's nice is they have several different colors; black, grey, black... Actually I think they do have a couple of others. Very easy to use. You might want to give it a try!

I did an Astra A-100 In Brownells teflon moly a bout two years ago.Only parts I didnt do were the springs, barell and hammer. everything else was prepped and coated. Finish is still holding up good and the cleanup is easy and quick. Plus it takes almost no oil(slide operation feels slick dry) and it hasnt jammed for approximately 6000 rounds(200-300 rounds amonth for two years rounded off)The stuff works pretty good if you ask me. Synweap223 Out!
