Jcrew has a pair of redwing beckham boots I have been eyeing since last year.

I wear a 8.5 , do redwings run true on the stated size?

IME they're all over the board depending on style.

ETA: Mostly running large though. I gave up trying with their other styles and just get the Pecos now, which I get a full size smaller then my regular hiking boots.

Go to a Redwing store and try them on.

Barring that I'd have to say yes, for my size 13s.  If you have wide forefoot / toes get one of their King Toe boots.

Never had anything but good to say about redwing and the sizing.

Not familiar with that model, but used to sell some and they were always a half to a full size long, and a little on the wide side.

Yeah. I found their steel toes to be cramped in the toe box. Make sure to try multiple widths, too. They have some of the largest variety in widths I've seen.

Did you get your red wings ? Wink wink

Edit for hint to perverted joke

Don't buy workboots unless you've tried them on. Your feet deserve better than that.

The local redwing store is a mom and pop -- I sorta feel bad getting them to size me and then walk out with a "appreciate it,best of luck" while I order online
But that being said I'd hate to order a pair of 200 and something boots and having them not fit.

Mine were right on the money...perfect fit.

Worst case...if they aren't right, send them back and go up or down a size as needed.

Agreed. I have two pairs of steel toed loggers. One is a bit wide and the other quite narrow. Both fit, but have vastly different feel.

Only boots I wear anymore, nothing else holds up on our property. I wear an 8 1/2 - 9, buy the 9 and it fits perfectly.

You'll probably pay more at the local store, but picking something that fits when they are on your feet ten hours a day works out to a few pennies a day difference.

No. I went to the Red Wing store and tried on several pairs of boots. Even different styles didn't fit the same.

I always found them to run true to size. But I also wouldn't buy a 300+ dollar pair of boots without trying them on.

I've worn their Chukka's for 20 years and they still pretty true.
