Wow, I havn't had a fried bologna sandwich in a long time...
How I remember them is just plain classic white bread, maybe some American cheese and ketchup. Fry the bologna slowly so it gets a little crispy but not burned, enjoy!

ETA: I now know what I am having for lunch tomorrow.

Better yet:

Chicken-Fried Blogna

DIp bologne slices in pancake batter and fry on a griddle. Yes, it sucks as bad as it sounds, but some people really go for it.

Mmmmmmmmm fried baloney sammich.    For something different, after frying, pour a little bbq sauce on it while still in the skillet, give it a couple of minutes, then slap on some bread.

Had a lunch bet on the UK vs Georgia with a local Georgia boy so I thought I would cook up some simple southern food.

Frying the bologna improves the taste but it's still baloney.

I prefer to make a grilled cheese sandwich with some ham or turkey stuffed in for good measure.  If you really want to turn it up to 11, turkey and bacon and melted cheese is the best.  THAT is some heavenly sandwich action.

This thread confuses me.  It's like asking for a recipe for a ham sandwich.
