Turned on the TV before heading off to work, and I happened upon Sesame Street.  They had the Count on, who was always one of my favorites when I was a kid, and he counted up to 13 - the number of the day.  Then they played this rap all about the number 13.  I was shocked - feeding rap to 4 year olds?

Lots of things have changed since I was a kid.

Like I care. I don't think the rap was about about bitches and gang violence.

As long as Count is not rapping about, 1 crack pipe, 2 rocks, 3 joints, 4 hoes, 5 fo'tee's, 6 cop killers....etc...

No biggie.

Barney, I can handle, even Teletubbies ... but Sesame Street has got to be the most annoying children's show on TV. I happen to think that Elmo would make for excellent target practice.

Uh, chill out, guy.  It's just music, to which he sung his song about the number 13.

Were the lyrics objectionable?  No?  Then what's the problem?
