Camp Perry has results for younger shooters as does the NRA. The Olympics also has teen champions but they used politically correct shotguns.

Frankly, taking the stance that EBRs are used in competition, so they do have a sporting use is THE WRONG path to take. The right to own them should not be based upon a 'condition' of sanctioned sport.
It always irks me that this is the response given to the 'no sporting use' argument. The correct response should be that there is a lot of recreational and hobbiest useage, regardless of competitions/hunting. Never allow the legitimacy of a material item to be contingent on an event. To make an analogy, one could easily ban Jeep ownership based on the lack of membership in a sanctioned off road club or residence in an ice prone state. |

good point about not using competitions as the only justification, but it is nice to be able to show these people that the guns aren't the mass killing machines they think they are
