In a neat twist to the "calling card" routine from Apocalypse Now, Rangers carried with them prints of jpgs of phototgraphs taken from the WTC site to leave behind on the dead.

I do beleve that is what they are called, yes.

Coppola made a big deal out of it in his movie, and someone may have actually done that in Vietnam sometime.  Dont know for sure how common it was to do that.  In this case now, it seems a damn good idea.

I understand that flag is now flying over the USS Kittyhawk in the Arabian Sea.

Oh, then they all are sharing it.
On Day 1 of the airstrikes it was flying from the [i]Carl Vinson[/i]

Of course if the special ops people are going to be taking over the lead in the operation it would make sense to transfer the flag to [i]Kitty Hawk[/i]where they are based.
