I'm sick of carrying cardboard boxes of heavy ass ammo, which later either get misplaced or collapse and fall apart.

I'm looking for a inexpensive wheeled range cart I have leave a bunch of ammo in and keep in the garage.

What do you all use?

I use this thing called a range bag...you can stick ammo, magazines and targets in it...pretty nifty, actually.

I have two plastic range boxes which already go with me.  I don't need another carry item.  Besides I need something with more room.  I need a cart.

It needs to also be portable enough to put in and out of my Pathfinder.

In SASS we use these.

Most can be broken down to fit in cars.

You can find THESE at just about every garage sale on the planet.

Where are the high-power regulars?  I doubt they're carrying stuff in their arms back and forth to the 600-yard line.

We use these on the race team I work for. Not cheap, over $200, but indestructable and they fold up nice and compact.

Try and find the larger wheeled versions of the shopping dolly. They are made of chrome and fold up. to add capacity ya can bungie a milk carton on top of the main compartment.

I need a range cart as well. I end up having to make several trips to the car to get all of my rifles, targets and ammo.

I have one.  I was going to turn it into a SASS Guncart.  It's a good concept, but you need to find a quality box and a strong cord to make it work.

I have one of these too.  It wasn't strong enough for 4 pistols, 2 rifles, a shotgun and a ton of ammo.

Semi rigid duffel bag with frame on the bottom and wheels and handle.  You can sling it, drag it, carry it, last a lifetime.  I had one like this until mice destroyed it.

Not when it is full of ammo.

I went down to Lowe's and bought a wheelie tool bag.  ~$20 bought a decent rig.

ETA, my memory is shot, or it was on sale....

I use a Stanley rolling tool box/chest I got at Lowes. Kind of like a wheeled suitcase on steroids.

Make your own.  It's fun and it's very do-able for just about anyone.

Bigger wheels is better.  6" OD is about the minimum.

Here's mine

The wheels come from a $30 welding cart purchased from Harbor Freight.  Look at that HF welding cart.  It's a great starting point for a range cart.

The problem with the Stanley carts is that in areas with lots of pine needles and pine cones, these jam up the small wheels that have zero ground / cart clearance.

I know some highpower shooters who use these.

Folds up, carries 100 pounds.

Customize as needed.
