The guy who called was a blogger in NYC who goes by the name "Allah".  He said on several other peoples' blogs that he was the caller.

Allah's a seriously funny guy and was really highly regarded when he was an active blogger from 2003-2004.  He gave up running his own blog because he devoted so much time and effort to it, but received nothing real in return, just niche recognition.  It's a shame, because the guy is really clever and funny.
