Well its not Bill Buckner's fault, it is the dumbass coach who put Bob "Polesmoker" Stanley in relief.  The second Bob Stanley entered the game, I knew the Red Sox would choke - that SOB couldn't hold a lead if his whole families lives depended on it.

God I almost fell sorry for you Boston fans… deep in your heart you know the Yankees will find a way to beat the Red Sox.

Who are they?  Do they play soccer or field hockey or something like that?  Flame suit on.

The Batter hit 10 straight Foul Balls and almost got hit by a wild pitch before hitting that little squibbler.  You can’t blame Buckner; everybody knew his ankles were going to be operated soon after the season was over.  While blaming that last pitching change is reasonable, remember the Instant Replay (as if anybody in Boston could forget).  The ball bounced, bounced, bounced and suddenly DIDN’T bounce.

And as I was typing this, I suddenly remembered that the Previous Sox pitcher was a Former Met.  The batters could logically remember any edge, any flaw they could remember.

Go Sox!  Beat the Yankees!
Hey, I’m a Met fan so have some pity on me.
