I often shoot my AR's in backyard and the POI is about an inch high at 40 yards. What will the POI be at 100 yards?

Thanks

No one can honestly tell you.

It depends on the height of your sights above the bore, the load, the bullet weight, and a bunch of other factors.

Shoot it and see.

I'm going to guess and say 2 inches high at 100 yards.

Let us know what the outcome is after you get back.

Well an inch high at 40 yards ended up 2 inches high at 100 yards. This is using an eotech and a bushnell halo sight co-witnessed with iron sights. It was pretty windy so I did not make any sight adjustments. Groups for the most part around 3 inches a few flyers but i was pleased with results holding off sandbags.
