I've got a gift certificate for $100 for basspro.  Normally I don't shop there.

But does anyone know what basspro wants for a rem700 in .223?  (nothing fancy, just a basic 700)

For a Remington 700 ADL synthetic,  Basspro had them at $399 a couple of months ago when I was there. Call and ask them.

Is the ADL the low-end 700 (I don't really care to buy a high-end one now, as this will become a project rifle of sorts as I teach myself to 'smith a 700 and rework it piece by piece as I can afford the parts I like)
